Refund & Cancellation Policy

Clear guidelines for refunds and cancellations

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") forms an integral part of the Terms & Conditions of ShaadiPariwar ("Platform", "we", "our", "us"). By subscribing to any of our premium plans, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. No Refund Policy

All payments for Premium Plans purchased on ShaadiPariwar are final and non-refundable.

Exception — Duplicate Payment:

If a user is charged twice for the same plan (i.e., duplicate/duplicate-authorisation capture), ShaadiPariwar will refund only the extra/duplicate amount after completion of a verification process.

  • The duplicate payment claim will be investigated and verified by our payments team.
  • Upon successful verification, the refund for the duplicate amount will be processed within 24 hours of verification completion.
  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method used for the transaction, subject to the payout timelines of the payment processor/bank.

2. Cancellation by User

  • Users may cancel their subscription at any time from their account settings.
  • On cancellation, the user's account will cease to enjoy premium benefits at the end of the current billing period or immediately (depending on plan type and UI flow).
  • No refunds will be issued for payments already made for the chosen plan or remaining duration, except as provided under Section 1 for duplicate payments.
  • Cancellation does not entitle the user to any prorated refund or credit.

3. How to Request Review for Duplicate Charges

To report a suspected duplicate charge, contact our support team as soon as possible with:

Required Information:

  • Full name, registered email/phone number on ShaadiPariwar
  • Transaction date, transaction reference/ID (if available)
  • A screenshot of the bank/payment statement showing the duplicate charge

We will acknowledge receipt and begin verification. You may be asked for additional information to complete the verification.

4. Compliance with Indian Laws & Regulatory Guidelines

This Policy is subject to and will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. In particular, ShaadiPariwar intends to comply with applicable laws and guidelines including, but not limited to:

  • Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules framed thereunder;
  • Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and related regulations applicable to digital services;
  • IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, as applicable to intermediaries; and
  • Any other statutory rules, directives, or guidelines issued by relevant Indian governmental authorities.

ShaadiPariwar will not engage in activities that violate the Constitution of India or applicable law, and expects users to use the Platform in compliance with applicable laws.

5. Grievance Officer & Dispute Resolution

In accordance with applicable IT Rules, ShaadiPariwar will appoint a Grievance Officer. The Grievance Officer's contact details will be made available in the Terms & Conditions/Grievance section on the Platform.

For payment, refund, or cancellation disputes that cannot be resolved through our support or Grievance Officer, users may approach consumer forums or courts of competent jurisdiction in India. All disputes arising from or relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

7. Changes to this Policy

ShaadiPariwar may update this Policy from time to time. Revised policies will be effective when posted on the Platform with the updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
